All my wishes have come true
I’m thinking about it and I feel blue
Lonelier too.
Be my summer take my fall
Come winter you’re cold and it’s all my fault
Isn’t it all?
We’ve just returned from the Sundance Film Festival, where Jenny O. wowed packed crowds of attendees at the Sundance/ASCAP Music Cafe during her two performances there. Jenny’s music has been everywhere lately – from recent syncs on “True Blood” and “Wilfred” to a brand new Toyota Camry commercial, as well as growing radio airplay (spearheaded by very early support from LA’s legendary KCRW).
“All My Wishes” is the second track on Jenny O.’s debut EP, Home (Manimal Vinyl), and a personal favorite here in the Notable offices. A hauntingly simple arrangement and an irresistible melody frame this beautiful tale from the pen of Jenny O. Listen and enjoy…
Following the success of Home, Jenny headed into the studio with producer Jonathan Wilson to cut her first full-length LP. Recording has just completed on the as-yet-untiltled album, and it’s a stunner… stay tuned for further release info as we get it!

Let’s hit the dancefloor
See everyone we know
We’ll cut a rug and
Sneak up on the mistletoe
I’ll sing a song or two with them and then
We best be on our way, yeah
Off to paint this moonlit town ablaze
Shake it for the ones who got away
That’s why we get down in the holidays
That’s how we get down for the holidays.
The holidays are upon us, and our own Jenny O. is celebrating by wrapping up mixing on her first full-length album, which was produced by the amazing Jonathan Wilson.
It’s been an incredible year for Jenny – her debut EP, Home, and it’s infectious first single (and unforgettable video) “Well OK Honey” received nationwide airplay – including a lot of love from LA’s influential KCRW – and lead to tours with the likes of Dave Matthews, Ben Harper, and Leon Russell. Her track on the Buddy Holly tribute album Rave On (“I’m Gonna Love You Too”) received major accolades from critics and fans; this was followed by her adventurous cover of Pink Floyd’s “Happiest Days Of Our Lives/Another Brick In The Wall Pt. 2” for the school-themed charity compilation Cool For School, benefitting The Lunchbox Fund.
If 2011 was any indication of good things to come, well, we can’t wait for 2012!
Happy holidays, all!
