“So let people wonder, let ‘em laugh, let ‘em cry”…Frank Sinatra’s second set of torch songs recorded with arranger Gordon Jenkins, No One Cares, was released on Capitol Records in 1959 in both stereo and mono versions. Jenkins who also worked with the Andrews Sisters, Johnny Cash, Louis Armstrong, Judy Garland, Nat King Cole, Billie Holiday, and Ella Fitzgerald among others, captures Mr. Sinatra in a stunning & melancholy mood with Cy Coleman & Joseph McCarthy’s great ballad, “Why Try To Change Me Now”.
This timeless song has gone on to be recorded by the likes of Little Jimmy Scott, Count Basie & Sammy Davis Jr., Elvin Jones, Nancy Wilson, and Fiona Apple. Catch a special live performance from Fiona HERE.

Two years after Shirley Bassey scored big with 007′s “Goldfinger” she hit the jackpot again in 1967 with “Big Spender“. A top 20 smash in her native UK, the song became one of her signature songs throughout her 60 year+ career and has been sampled and remixed numerous times.
The song was written by Cy Coleman and Dorothy Fields for the tony winning musical Sweet Charity, first performed in 1966 and staged by Bob Fosse and again in the 1969 film starring Shirley MacLaine, John McMartin, and Sammy Davis Jr. The most recent hit revivals include Christina Applegate who starred in the Broadway revival in 2005 and Tamzin Outhwaite who starred in London’s West End production in 2010.
